6 Year old PtHA (Paint/TB) gelding. Just over 17.1 hands measured, 1,400 lbs weighed. Barefoot and sound, with no maintenance. Dressage foundation, not jumped yet, started over poles/cavaletti's and LOVES it!

"Spyder" has 3 beautiful long-legged gaits, uphill build but naturally carries head low, very smooth to ride. He is cadenced and balanced, athletic and flexible. He prefers a slow steady pace, making him a more relaxed push-type of ride. He is extremely confident, never been spooky.

Been ridden lightly since 2.5 years old. Started by a reining trainer in Ramona, Yannay Moshe. Continued in Western Dressage. Now ridden English, light work 2-3 days/wk. Lots of great training on this horse, his foundation is solid. Ready to go your direction! Many years of fun ahead of this guy!! Hate to see him go.

He is lighthearted (class clown) and extremely personable. Good with other horses, likes to be the leader. Ground manners are very good, he does need to be kept in check due to size and curiosity. Spyder would be well suited for a taller rider. Preferably an intermediate rider, would like to see him go to somebody working with a trainer. He is ready for a full time job!

His hocks have been fused, so he will never need injections! Cleared by Dr. Marty Gardner to continue on in his riding career with no limitations, including jumping sports, which is what he is suited to. If you do not know about fused hocks, please speak with your trainer or vet about it while considering Spyder. A quick google search goes a long way, too. I will not be able to educate everyone who inquires. Fusion has a positive effect on soundness and mobility. Priced accordingly, at $16,000 OBO. Good home is a priority.
