Bring your horse OR ride one of our schoolmasters. We can accommodate riders as young as 8 years old and up to 75 years. No prior experience is required.
School horses are available for use with all tack and helmet provided at no extra charge. You do not need to own a horse or any tack to get to ride here!
No Haul-In Fee is charged for haul-in lessons.

Training for Privately Owned Horses: This is a small private training program with very limited opportunity for enrollment. This is intentional, to afford each horse more one-on-one time with the trainer than most traditional training programs allow, in order to reduce horse’s stress levels and produce quality, lasting results. Trainer Anastasia treats each enrolled horse the same as she would treat her own horse. Attention to detail is given in every aspect of daily care, handling, warm up/cool down, riding, proper conditioning and training. Horses leave this training program in better condition, healthier, and often more sound than they were upon arrival. We work closely with the vet, farrier, and chiropractor to immediately address any needs or concerns that arise. All Training Sessions will include top quality care, such as hand walking, grooming and hoof picking before and after, leg protection as needed, proper warm up and cool down (which may include hosing down or cooler sheet), liniment or compression wraps as needed after strenuous workouts or during rehabilitation. In the first week, your horse will be evaluated and training goals can be set for the month. If you have specific goals, please express them to the trainer! These goals are meant to give training a focus, not to push your horse, because your horse will learn and develop at its own pace according to mental, emotional, and physical capability.

Monthly Training Enrollment Training is 5 days/wk. Length and frequency of sessions is at the sole discretion of the Trainer, with horse's condition, soundness, and maturity in mind. A young horse's time is often split into two shorter sessions per day. Mature animals get about 45 minutes to 1-hour sessions each day, plus additional care and handling. Once each week, you are welcome to be hands-on with the trainer, or audit your horse's training session, through a scheduled lesson time. This lesson/audit is optional and replaces one training session. Additional 30 min private or 1 hour group lessons "in-lieu" of your included training rides: $40 scheduling charge.

- Turnout (Bell boots and splint boots available and applied per request).
- Fly Mask/Fly Spray - DAC Citronella spray. Owner provides fly mask.
- Lunch - up to one scoop (~1lb) Alfalfa Pellets and up to 2 oz. DAC Oil is provided, or bring your own grain and supplements. Extra scoop of grain daily - add $25 per month. Extra 2 oz. DAC Oil - add $25 per month.

Mobile Training Options
"Bring the trainer to your barn"! This is a perfect option for someone who doesn’t have access to a trailer, people who don't want to invest in a full month of board and training, or want to keep their horses at home. Anastasia can meet you at any home or facility with an approved arena, round pen, or square pen within 20 miles of Shingle Springs, CA.
This service is in HIGH DEMAND & scheduling is VERY LIMITED due to travel time.
For best results, private sessions are strongly recommended & in many cases may be required, per Anastasia's discretion.
Scheduling 2 or more Lessons/Training in one visit is encouraged with a discount. See below or inquire for details.
