I came to Anastasia with my rescued two-year-old colt back in April. From the gate she meant business, I bought a 10 session package for a stealing deal of $550. In those sessions she didn't just train my baby for me, she worked side-by-side with me and taught me all the way from the ground up high-quality, completely in-tune , and professional horse training (a gift that will last a lifetime). I began working with Anastasia Carson for an arena tune-up for my 16-year-old paint, Copy Approved, who I’ve used mostly used on trails for the past few years. Julie & Perseus
​ I met Anastasia Carson when I adopted a Mustang pony (Perseus) from a nearby rescue. The veterinarian for the rescue had seen Anastasia working with horses and recommended her for the job.
Perseus had no formal training but knew basic trailer loading and standing for the farrier. Anastasia began Perseus' training using a natural horsemanship approach. Meaning the training progresses at the horses pace and readiness, not the trainers. As a result of Anastasia's patient and consistent work a trusting relationship grew between the two. She was teaching Perseus to be respectful, what she refers to as "a good citizen".
Now it was my turn! Through Anastasia's patience and persistence, I learned how to become Perseus best partner. We even dabbled in a bit of Western Dressage and my little mustang did very well!
Our relationship has blossomed and we are now riding both in the arena and on local trails where we are working on new challenges. Wherever we go people comment on Perseus quiet and respectful behavior. With Anastasia's early training, Perseus really is a "good citizen"!
