This gorgeous mare is an Appendix, registered with APHA (Quarter Horse on the top, Thoroughbred on the bottom). She is a quiet, level-tempered mare with years of experience on the trail and rodeo drill team. She has started a tune up and will begin an education in Western Dressage. She will need a rider who is sensitive to her ears bridling and haltering as she is protective of them. Dancer has excellent ground manners, leads and ties very well, loads and unloads the trailer easily. She loves to be groomed, bathed, and pampered. She is barefoot and up to date on vaccinations. Looking for mostly finished mare for drill team work. Retiring my older girl due to hoof issue. Prefer 5 yrs to 8yrs old as I am 0 for 5 in soundness on horses in low teens and up. Gelding possible if outstanding. Budget dependent on training level. Need good attitude, flying lead change, rating, work off leg and seat, workable in rodeo type environment (can be a bit hot as long as can still do job) with lots of noise, other horses in tight quarters, flags etc. Kind of cowboy dressage meets reiner.
